Autumn Play November 2008The Farmer's WifeWhat a fabulous production!! Congratulations to everyone involved. It was great to have new people involved with the show both on stage and backstage. Christmas CheerThis is our annual Christmas get-together. This year it's a little different. We are producing a short piece of entertainment by members of the Group and some guests. It will be full of Christmas songs and some humour. There is a small charge of £2-00 to cover expenses. For this you will recieve a glass of wine and mince pie. So please come along on December 16th at 7-30pm and join in our pre-Christmas celebration. It is open to members, friends and family. Let's make it full of cheer. Early bird seating. Dames at SeaWe are very pleased to be presenting this musical which has a small named cast and an opportuntiy to use a small chorus. It is the story of an off Broadway Theatre Company faced with eviction from their theatre just before opening night of their latest production. It tells how the Company de-camps to a Naval vessel and use it as the backdrop for their show. Hence the title. It has lots of catchy songs and foot-tapping music. We are pleased that Andy Marchant has agreed to direct and Sue Marsh is the Musical Director. As the past has shown this is a winning combination for a musical.
